Mohammed Dabani, an independent filmmaker based in Brussels, was born in Morocco and grew up in the UK. A graduate of Goldsmiths University of London, he explores culturalidentity and social justice through his documentaries and short films. His film Zaid: “fromugliness to beauty” (2024) was screened at the Tangiers National Film Festival. “Home” (2023)received a mention at the À Films Ouverts Festival, and “Fatima: life on an activist” (2022) wasselected at the Cinémamed Festival in Brussesl .
