Mustafa Kur was born in Latakia, Syria, in 1989. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Acting Department, in 2014 in Damascus, Syria. Since that he performed in numerous plays, including While I Was Waiting (2017) and The Factory (2018), at various theaters around the world, including Beirut, Egypt, Tokyo, Vienna, New York, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg.
In addition to his theater work, he has acted in several international films, such as In Syria (2017), directed by Philippe Van Leeuw, and It Will Rain (2022) by Amir Zaza, and have been participated in international festivals such as Berlinale, Venice, the Oscar Student Awards, and the Cairo International Film Festival.
The Shower of Haze (2025) is his first short film and the first part of a trilogy about space. Currently he lives in Bremen- Germany .
