lAURENCE LY

Of Cambodian and Vietnamese origin, Laurence Ly holds a master's degree in cinema and image in movement from Université du Québec à Montréal and a diploma in directing from L'institut de l'image et du son. He directed the web series LES LAURIERS (2022) and the short films CORRESPONDANCE (2022) and THE LITTLE SHOPPING TROLLEY (2024). His next short film project, which has been approved by the Conseil des arts du Canada and Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, is a fantastical drama entitled LA NUIT DU CANTONNIER.
