DIVINE MADNESS
SYNOPSIS
When a person realizes that they will die, they sharply divide the world after death from this one, projecting a kind of abyss-like absence. At this moment, in a certain sense, the person dies, as they are constantly in a trembling anticipation of the end of randomness, living towards death. They begin to negotiate their place in the world, calculating what is useful and what is not, until they bravely breathe at the edge of the cliff of death, right up to the last second before meaning dissolves.

Director statement
Hegel supplemented the power of negativity into the spiritual movement of the world itself, while Schelling interpreted the paradox of creation's logic through a divinely apocalyptic madness. Bataille, through a mistaken interpretation of Nietzsche, opened up a field of meaninglessness, while Barthes and Lacan sought solutions along the tension of internal human narratives. In the field of imagery, I want to connect all the spiritual forces of those before us and experimentally deconstruct this era of lost and disordered meaning.
